Let’s look at Coachella and all I will be missing this last weekend (seriously next year I am coming for you Coachella)

Now what music tit bits do we have to look forward to this Summer.

Well lets start with the ever popular Wireless Festival, which will this year be hosted at the Olympic Park in East London for a change. Personally I think this will be an amazing event. My tickets are booked for all three days. Let’s goooooooo!

The weekend after that we have the amazing Lovebox. A regular for Londonites and visitors from farther afield. The line up is always ridic and it’s one of those events where by you curse yourself when you don’t go and hear about it from friends. Just get your tickets and save yourself the heart ache

Followed a month later by the UK’s biggest and best – Glastonbury.
And again, the talent here is just never-ending. If you didn’t grab your tickets on the resale date then you will be watching from home like me but either way there will be some amazing musical moments at Glastonbury 2013. Who are you looking forward to the most from this mammoth line up?!

The end of the Summer sees Bestival - the bestest festival - opening its arms to an array of musical goodness too gooooood to miss. Check out the goodies! AMAZEballs!

There we have a musical treasure trove for you musical love’s. There are obviously so much more to mention.

Consisting of three piece band behind Jamiroquai;  Paul Turner on bass, Rob Harris on guitar, Derrick McKenzie on drums with the added talent of Daniel Pearce on vocals/percussion who is a musical powerhouse in his own right.

What you get here is pure magic.

I first met these amazing guys back in February 2011 and I’ve got to be honest, from the sound check onward’s I was an immediate fan of the new band “Shuffler”. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of some material from them and then… there in was, in my inbox. A message. A ray of light. NEW MATERIAL IS HERE!

I was NOT disappointed.

Understated
There’s something immediately emotional about this track. In the first few bars im hooked. Its drags me in in the same sort of way that Skunk Anansie used to in the days of ‘Weak’. I feel goosebumpy listening to this. Letting it just drift over me. It’s a great track, my favorite on the album. 

Do Ya
Musically wonderful. Funky Cold Medina. LOVE the guitar & bass on this. So summery and fresh.  

Stay With Me
Laid back & relaxed. for me this conjures up visions of a lazy Sunday afternoon, fire on, tea in hand, rain outside. Utter bliss. 

A little taster for you lovely lot below. When the album gets released, go get it. You just should. Because it’s fab!

Tonight they play the Jazz Cafe in Camden, London. I for one shall be front and centre, ready for what is sure to be an electric gig. I mean honestly, when they are playing, where else would I actually be? Really! Now go buy those tickets if there are any left. I shall be posting some vid’s over the weekend from the gig, check the twitter.

I first heard this track on BBC 1Xtra Live Lounge and I had to stop doing what I was doing to just take it in. Now I’m a tigger, a girl with some ADHD aka very little focus on what is happening in the background. But this? This had to have full attention. HAD to.

Since then, every time I hear it, the same effect!

Goosebumps and focus is what happens over here. And I love it. So I had to share. I’m a sharer as you know

Bounce along in a springy ‘Ooooo Summer is so much closer than it was now that its light at night’ kind of way. Its that sort of track I think. Makes you feel lighter and brighter. And I do like a track like that I must say.

Chris Malinchak ‘So good to me’

There are some amazing Janet Jackson samples at the moment including of course Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Poetic Justice’. This is a nice ode to the amazing talent that is Janet, but it is also a stand alone track with some serious flava flavvvvvvv!

The beat is really nice and heavy, it reminds me so much of the mid 90′s R’n'B scene. I could just listen to this over and over. In fact - lets be honest, I’m going to!

Talented twosome just make this track float. Check it out.

Is just another Rudimental killer. I was immediately head bobbing, jamming away in the car, and when the DJ said ‘it’s Rudimental’ in my head I went ‘of course it is, makes perfect sense’.
